Lucerne, Switzerland

Shawn and I had the luxury to take Bella to Lucerne, Switzerland on a little getaway quality time with just her. It is really not often enough that we spend one on one time with the kids so we really cherished this vacation time with her….and what a fabulously beautiful location it was!!!

This is the Chapel Bridge…we took so many photos of this beauty from all angles.

The Chalet we stayed at was a 100 year old restored barn, just one of the fantastic little gems you can find in Lucerne and all over Europe.

Dying Lion of Lucerne is a monument to those that lost their lives during the French Revolution. This was a magnificent sculpture that I was grateful to view.

We decided to take a train up to the top of Mount Pilatus….while as you can see from the photo above the train rides very, very close to the edge of the side of the cliff. This makes the nervous riders (me) anxious but not my other two, they loved every anxious minute we had getting up to the top.

But once at the top….look at those views. It truly is a magical place to see and we are so happy to share this experience with our daughter.

To end our trip…the Swiss cows gave us a nice pose!!
